Power Station Pub & Theater

A fun location for lunch, dinner or a movie, the Power Station Pub & Theater dates back back to 1911 when the property began life as the Multnomah County Poor Farm. Back then, the Power Station served as, you guessed it, the power station – the laundry and power facilities for this working farm.

Loading Dock Grill

Follow the scent of grilled fare to Edgefield's summer treasure during warmer months. Think European-style piazza. Think intimate New Orleans courtyard. Think outdoor garden oasis and you'll get a pretty good idea of what we're talking about – the ideal place to meet for a beer and some casual pub fare.

Black Rabbit House

The Black Rabbit House is named for the furry rabbit spied by the McMenamins family when originally touring the Poor Farm property as a prospect, which would become Edgefield. This bar is open seasonally and is surrounded by one-of-a-kind pipe and keg art. Duck in to order up handcrafted ales, wine and spirits at this wee gem.

Jerry's Ice House

A wee thimble of a gathering place, Jerry's Ice House is another special gathering spot at Edgefield. The inspired grooves and jams of the Grateful Dead fill the air here, appreciated all the more with distilled spirits, handcrafted ales and wines, made just a short stroll away in Edgefield's onsite brewery, winery and distillery.

Lucky Staehly's Pool Hall

During the 1970s, when Edgefield functioned as an old folks' home, one of its most colorful characters was the inimitable Lucky Staehly. Though confined to a wheelchair, it didn't stop him from lifting weights, participating in (and winning!) events at the 1977 Oregon Wheel Chair Games, good-naturedly chasing women and, notably, becoming quite an accomplished pool player on the tables that once lined Edgefield's rec room.

Thus, we've christened our game and pool hall in honor of this stalwart fellow. Raise a glass to ol' Lucky as you check out our five pool tables, snooker table, dart boards, pinball machines, shuffle board, four televisions and juke box. Guests can enjoy our handcrafted ales, wines and spirits along with a unique menu from Edgefield's pizza kitchen. When it's cold and rainy out – or even when it's hot and sunny – head to the elegant confines of Lucky Staehly's.

Little Red Shed

The Shed is a cozy hideaway located inside the concert venue that's charming enough to have been created by J.R.R. Tolkien himself. Once serving as an incinerator in the property's poor farm days, this convivial pub comfortably seats up to 10 people. In here, guests relax by the glow of the fireplace and enjoy favorite McMenamins ales and distilled spirits, as well as guest liquors. Try a unique cocktail with our ‘wee drams’ offerings; pair these with our ‘wee bites.’

Distillery Bar

The Edgefield Distillery Bar sits under the same roof as the Distillery, on the property's southern border, in what was once a potato-shed-turned-horse-stables. With antique windows, a handsome back bar, intriguing pipe sculptures and a cozy woodstove, the Distillery Bar is a favorite gathering spot at Edgefield.

Stop by to admire this lovely little spot, with its view of the pool landscaping and blazing floral pipe art! Choose from a selection of loose leaf teas, McMenamins ales, light food items, cocktails made with tea and more.

And if you're a guest of the hotel or Ruby's Spa, you're welcome to enjoy a drink inside the pool area – just imagine slipping into the saltwater with a cool Chardonnay, a Sunflower IPA or perhaps a Ginger Zap, made with hot ginger-hibiscus tea, fresh-squeezed lemon juice, a touch of honey and ginger-infused vodka.
