Guests of all ages are welcome to attend these shows. Concert-goers 3 years and older require a ticket.
Starting in 2024, outside chairs will not be allowed in the venue. A limited number of venue rental chairs will be available.
Our first and foremost goal is for everyone to have a great experience at Concerts on the Lawn. In order for this to happen, we had to regulate the size of chairs so that everyone can see the stage. However, checking chairs at entry has become cumbersome and time consuming, causing lags for people entering the venue.
In searching for a solution, we looked to other venues, and many have successful chair rental programs with uniform sizing, allowing everyone a fair chance to view the show. You are not required to rent a chair.
Personal seat cushions up to 16x16”, towels up to 30x60”, legless portable stadium seats and Crazy Creek-style seating (up to 16x16x 16") are acceptable in specific areas of the venue. Blankets are not allowed.
For many concerts, guests are permitted (and sometimes encouraged by the artist!) to stand and dance directly in front of the stage or in front of their seats during the entirety of the performance. Situating your chair or blanket with a view of the stage does not guarantee you an unobstructed view. We do ask everyone to please be neighborly to other guests and refrain from conduct that is offensive or physically dangerous.
Small, personal-sized umbrellas are allowed in the venue, but can not be used in the reserved and general admission areas once the concert has begun.
Yes! As long as you’re buying before show time on the day of the event, you can purchase tickets online or through charge-by-phone and your tickets will be ready for you when you arrive at Edgefield. After that, any remaining tickets may only be purchased at the amphitheater box office located onsite.
Recently we’ve been advised of people doctoring print-at-home tickets and selling these on Craigslist for big profits. The buyers of these ticket are not admitted to the show, since the barcodes are fake. Due to these scams, we strongly advise you not to buy tickets to our shows through Craiglist or similar websites.

Every show offers general admission (GA) tickets for seating on the lawn. For select shows, we also offer one of two additional options: Either Premium GA or Reserved Seating.
Premium GA: immediately in front of the stage. Standing room only; no towels or chairs allowed.
Reserved Seating: immediately in front of the stage. Tickets are for assigned seats.
