Edgefield Winery

In 1990, we planted three acres of Pinot Gris grapes on the Edgefield estate and started scouting other vineyards from which to buy fruit. Today, Edgefield Winery produces more than 25,000 cases of wine annually, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Merlot, special blends, dessert wines and more. We’ve expanded our production to include fruit from other regional partner vineyards.

Edgefield wines are only available through McMenamins, at our pubs, hotels and breweries. If you live in one of a few lucky states (OR, WA or CA) you can also order Edgefield wines online at edgefieldwinery.com.

Edgefield Brewery

The largest of McMenamins' breweries, the Edgefield Brewery opened in 1991 in the old cannery building of the former Multnomah County Poor Farm. Original artwork by Joe Cotter and Scott Young depicts the history of beer along the walls, and two of McMenamins' more popular brews, Black Rabbit Porter and Edgefield Wheat, originated here as did an early company Strong Ale known as Edgefield Extra.

Edgefield Distillery

It was a cold and rainy day in February 1998 when the Edgefield Distillery threw open the doors of its rustic lair of a building, once a dry shed for storing vegetables grown at the Edgefield estate during its days as a poor farm. Today, the spot hosts the Distillery itself, along with the Distillery Bar and serves as the clubhouse for Edgefield's par-3 Pub Course.
